PROTOTYPE

I upload new photo by Daici Ano.

あたらしい写真をupload しました。

I created a Flickr photo set of the exhibit.


And the exhibition space is becoming the office.

展示中にとった写真をフリッカーにアップロードしました。
また、添付の写真は、事務所になりつつある風景です。

I moved here,the exhibition place.
I am surprised at feeling that this space is smaller than my expects.
When we had the exhibition,I thought it was big enough though.

I have to make some furniture or shelf here for too much stuff.

I will upload pictures that Daici Ano took the exhibition soon.
So far,I would like to put the photo here right now.

ようやく引越しも終わり、（終わらないのですが。）
展示スペースからオフィスに早変わりしております。
展示会をやっていたときは、十分なスペースと思いましたが、
いざ、荷物やら、机がはいると残念なことに
思ったよりも小さくがっかりです。

そろそろ阿野太一さんによる会場写真がアップできると
思います。

写真は、現状のオフィスの状態です。
かろうじて仕事しています。

Thank you,many people more than my expects for coming the exhibition.
Today is last day,i couldn't go there but drill design said the last day was very busy and fun day.
Yesterday we met people from generate design and talked about how we should have partnership each other.
If we have a place that we can sell the prototype,it will be help very much for designer to make new prototype.Always we have to sleep with such a prototype,sometimes we just give them to my friends because there are no space!

I would like to introduce this flicker that one of the participant,Chris took as well as Chris works.

He used to be engineer and the background make his works very unique.
About more detail of his works,please look at his great site.
It's a Japanese and English site.

今日は、最終日。最後めんどうをみていただいたドリルさんによりますと、最後は結構にぎやかだったようです。今日もふくめて沢山の方々、わざわざ見にきていただきありがとうございました。昨日は、これらプロトタイプの紹介と販売を申し出ていただいたgenerate　design さんと打ち合わせをかねた、小さなパーティーをしました。このようなプロトタイプを売ってくださるかたがいらっしゃったということは（売れるかどうかとは別の話ですが・・）デザイナーにとって大きな励みです。多くのデザイナーは、プロトタイプに埋もれて生活していますから。それらをうって、次のプロトタイプをつくれることはデザインの業界をより活性化させていくことでしょう。
今日は、会場写真をとってくれたchrisさんの仕事を紹介。もともとエンジニアの素養がある彼の作品は、その理知的で数学的なアイデアが彼の作品をよりユニークで魅力のあるものとしています。詳しい説明は、彼の素晴らしいサイトで。日本語、英語のサイトです。

here is Thomas, one of the designers, I was really glad to exhibit one of the prototypes and hope all people that came were delighted to discover new works of "wakate" designers, young but promising!
prototype ends today but soon or sooner another edition will take place.
皆様、このデザイン展はとても面白かったので僕はとても嬉です。本当に今度他のデザイン展をしましょう。
レプリカプロジェクトは今度他の家具になります。

加藤さん、コメントどうもありがとうございます。
参加者みずからいうのもなんですが、今回は多くの部分において
成功した、成功しているといえると思います。

まずは、多くの人がきたopening party。
週末の、まずまずの動員。（平日はぼちぼち・・。）
それから、連日の４００人をこえるwebsiteのトラフィックサイト。
メディアの好意的な反応。（とくに海外メディア。）
そして、これらprototypeをアートとして売ってみようといってくれた企業があること。
来年のスポンサーがみつかりそうなこと。

まだまだありますが...
参加者、また主催者の真似事としては、うれしいかぎりです。

しばらくは、みなさまのプロトタイプを紹介していきたいと
思います。

てはじめに、写真のあるわたしから。あした他の方の写真はとっておきます・・。

Regarding opening party, many people came.

Last weekend ,many people came and saw.(On weekday,not so many though..)

A traffic site of this website are more than 400 people a day recently.

A few media are interested in this exhibition,especially overseas media

And there is a company that they want to sell these prototype as a art piece.

We probably found the possible sponsor of the next year.

At first,I would like to introduce the prototype of this exhibition by using the photo on the site.


These pictures are gravity light on the site.
But I could find several things that I want to renew and think before next prototype.




process

PROTOTYPE 展、ファーストインプレッションを。
・思ったよりいい会場だった（失礼！）
・思ったよりきちんと展示されていた（失礼！）
・思ったより展示物のパワーがあった（失礼！）
・思ったとおりブックレットがよかった
・料理がおいしかった（食べたのはほんのちょっとですが…　残念）
結局、展示物や展示全体について、予想を上回っていたという印象です。
さすがはプロだなあと感心しました。

昨日、たまたま美容院つながりのギャラリーで展示を見たのですが、
コンセプト／テーマの強度、展示物の世界があやふやなのですね。
分かる人には分かるでしょう？　分かったら仲間ね、
という感じがどうも違和感ありで。

はて、とはいえ、PROTOTYPE展はどうでしょう。
内輪にとどまるのはもったいないと思います。
まずは、参加者からのさまざまな視点をこの場で書いて頂ければと思います。
私も、オープニングはどうしても瞬間で失礼してしまったので、
再度鑑賞して所感をアップしていきたいと思いますし、
それぞれの方にお話を伺う機会があればと思います。
よろしくお願いします。


Though I'm not confident of English,...
My first impression for the PROTOTYPE exhibition.
･The hall was better than I thought. (sorry!)
･Exhibitions were neat than I thought. (sorry!)
･Exhibitions had the power than I thought. (sorry!)
･The booklet was good as I thought.(hmmm)
･Cuisine was so good.

I think that privately staying is wasteful.
First of all, I think that it's important for the participant to write various aspects in this place.
I want to improve impressions, and want to hear each about the PROTOTYPE.
